Chicago Dermatology

I have been going to Chicago Cosmetic Surgery and Dermatology for over 6 years for both surgery and dermatology services. This group of doctors and staff are helpful and caring. I know they want what is best for the patients. Even though I now live in the suburbs and have many options, I as well as my family, make the trip downtown because we know we are in good hands.

I had Caroline Sheppard as my PA, and she was awesome. I liked that even though my appt was to discuss my psoriasis, I was still able to ask questions related to other concerns. She was very friendly and patient. Also, I had an issue with Billing but Carmen from the Billing Dept calmly resolved the issue and called me immediately after contacting my insurance company about the concern, which was a great relief. Looking forward to coming back!

I’ve been going to Chicago dermatology for years to see Whitney for my acne and have had nothing but wonderful experiences with her. As I’ve reached my mid 30s I’ve decided to invest in injectables and lasers so made an appointment to see dr. Croix. The entire experience was incredible. I was greeted my Zach, who provided the most in depth and knowledgeable consult. He gave me recommendations based on my concerns, we discussed skincare, he was honest with what to invest in vs. what’s “cute” as he put it (which I loved). I really appreciated that and at no point did I feel like I was being upsold which I’ve had some trouble with at previous medspas. He then pulled together a plan for me inclusive of skincare, laser and injectables and had Dr. Croix come in and assess and validate + recommend any changes or additions. I was provided the plan and pricing ahead of committing to any procedure which allowed me to get what I wanted done today, within my budget, and without any $ surprises. I could then take home the extensive plan, to determine my next steps both skincare and $ wise. Everyone was so friendly. I was thrilled with my results today and the overall experience. The only thing that left me disappointed was that I couldn’t get drinks with the team after 🙂 highly recommend!

Dr. Pritzker is awesome! I’ve had adult acne all my life and she’s helping me figure out non-invasive ways to manage it. Her energy is contagious and I actually look forward to visits!

I have been to see other dermatologists over the years and Chicago Surgery and Dermatology is by far the best. I’ve seen Dr. Jacob for over 20 years and have a great deal of confidence in her experience and manner. The staff is very engaged with patient care and they take the time to explain your care plan. And, there’s no push to sell product which is there if you want it. Top notch care!
