I came to Dr. Kwak for an extremely delicate revision septum perforation repair surgery after dealing with a symptomatic perforation for 2 years. The results have been incredible and I feel like I now finally have my life back. Genuinely cannot express my gratitude for this practice enough.

Dr. Kwak performed a brow lift and Asian eyelid surgery with ptosis repair and it changed my life. I had significant drooping of my forehead and eyelids that made me visually impaired. I was initially unsure what I needed but Dr. Kwak spent over an hour explaining all my options to me and helped me understand what would best correct my issues. I wanted someone who understood the Asian eye and aesthetic and based on his before and afters I made the consultation appt. Wow! Worth it! Life changing! Friends who knew I had the procedures done have commented on how natural the results are. It’s been 8 months now and I’m feeling mostly healed. The brow lift incisions were so tiny that you can’t see them even though one on my right side is taking longer to fully heal. Overall I would highly recommend Dr. Kwak and am definitely a customer for life! The whole office is also very clean and the team kind and helpful.

Edward Kwak is very professional, gave me a realistic expectation and did not do “too much” which gave me a very natural and symmetrical nose size. When I was shaking and scared in the operating room, he did his best to reassure me.

However, the medical staff did a poor job of educating me on post-op care. All they told me was to apply this anti-bacterial petroleum jelly (forgot the name) on the area and use painkillers if I needed it.

They did not explain that I should expect pus and discharge. I thought there would just be blood. I did not know what to do with the pus and crusty yellow stuff around my nose as it accumulates, so I peeled/washed it off- yeah shouldn’t have done that.

They also did not say anything about using a silicone gel to prevent scars. I found out about silicone gel over a year after my operation, it was too late.

I attribute most of these scars I have from the lack of post-care instructions.

I have done 5 scar-revision treatments and spent thousands of $ over the years from different surgeons and although it is an improvement, it is still there.

I probably need 1 or 2 more scar revision treatments to make the scars hidden

I had a rhinoplasty here at Dr. Kwaks Office 2 weeks ago. He did an amazing job!! I unfortunately got nasal threads done and they really messed up my nose and made them crooked. He not only removed the threads but made it way better than before. I am really thankful to him and his team. Everyone is super nice, kind and patient.
